Going deeper with IFS

The question of “how can I learn more about IFS?” has been asked too many times by our clients and friends to not become a post on IFS Collective. My learning parts have loved learning IFS in a variety of ways and this post is here to share some of their favourite resources, with the hope it might support others in deepening their knowledge and practice of IFS. We are equally curious to know what has helped YOU learn IFS the most, whether in terms of content (e.g. books, trainings, etc) or practice (e.g. working with parts on your own, IFS sessions with a practitioner) and we hope to find out more of that via comments!

Beginner resources OR “Where can I start / find out more about IFS?”

– you can join our FREE event “Intro to Internal Family Systems & parts work”

– read any of Richard Schwartz’s books on IFS

– listen to this interview with Richard Schwartz by Tim Ferris; it contains a session demo that should give you an idea of what a session might feel like

– book an introductory 50% off IFS session with Pau to get a more felt sense of an IFS session OR book a free 15min connection call to ask questions or just say hello!

– follow the IFS Collective mailing list or our FB page to receive updates like this one

Intermediate resources OR “I’ve read the books/ I have an IFS therapist / want to train as a practitioner”:

– check out IFS Online Circles by the IFS Institute are an excellent resource to gain theoretical knowledge of the model and the process

– check out the IFS Continuing Education if you’re already completed L1 IFS training

– sign up to join our next free online IFS Unconference!

As usual, we’d love to hear from and learn from you, so please, let us know, what are YOUR favourite IFS resources?
